Introduction to E-TASC

What is E-TASC?

E-TASC (Electronics - Tool for Accountable Supply Chains) is a sustainability solution created for companies to effectively implement a common approach for assessing and managing supply chain risk, and driving performance improvement related to labour practices, health and safety, ethics and environmental activity.

What does E-TASC Do?

Our subscribers use E-TASC to complete and submit online questionnaires for their facilities/sites worldwide. These questionnaire submissions are scored and various reports can be extracted from the data to help the subscriber to assess their corporate responsibility risk and identify potential improvements.

The subscribers can then share all of this information, the questionnaires and associated reports, with any and all customers. Customer and Supplier can then work together on making improvements at every level of the supply chain.

The Vision for E-TASC:

We aim to provide the leading solution for supply chain transparency and improved corporate responsibility.

E-TASC Governance:

E-TASC is not a fixed solution; it is constantly changing in reaction to the needs of subscribers. In order to ensure that we can effectively monitor and respond to subscriber needs all Full Subscribers (Review the subscription options) automatically get a seat on the E-TASC Members Assembly (EMA).

Through the EMA full subscribers are consulted for feedback on key items such as the strategic plan for E-TASC, and a user’s perspective on E-TASC. Three representative companies from the EMA are elected by their peers to sit on the E-TASC Executive Council (EEC). The Council are responsible for the strategic plan for E-TASC (three-year plan) and for reviewing/approving the decisions of the various E-TASC community/working groups.
